AGREEMENT BETWEEN AGRICULTURE UNIVERSITY OF TIRANA AND UNIVERSITY OF BOLOGNA

🇮🇹 🇪🇺 🇦🇱 taking pride for strategic alliance in Adrion macroregion

Agriculture University of Tirana – Universiteti Bujqësor i Tiranës “UBT” signed on April 6 an agreement with Agrifood Science and Technology Department (DISTAL) of the University of Bologna.

The agreement will facilitate the development of agrifood bridges for innovation and sustainable development across the adriatic Eusair macroregion and will strengthen mobility and research links between Albania and Italy.

The Agreement occurs in the framework of the Project “PEMA” – VET THROUGH INNVATION promoted by Italian Cooperation in Tirana and with Albanian Ministery of Economy and Finance as the main beneficiary.

The project provides technical assistance for the creation of a Agriculture VET Multifunctional center at upper secondary Rakip Kryeziu school in Fier.

The Agreement will alto involve renewed attention towards the process of revision of post-secondary and tertiary agriculture qualifications in Albania, a process to which PEMA project is currently contributing through technical assistance to NAVETQ agency for the design of the first postsecondary qualification in “quality management” in agriculture.

DISTAL Director Prof.ssa Rosalba Lanciotti and Prof. Fatbardh Sallaku, Rector of the Agriculture University of Tirana agree in recognising that “the Agreement heralds a new phase in Eusair research and innovation collaboration at the moment of strategic relaunch of Adrion programming period“.
